Running business’s for almost 10 years has taught me a lot but my #1 most expensive, peace stealing lesson has been hire slow and FIRE fast!

When I was building my last two business’s I sucked wind as I proved my worth.  I worked for under pay and negotiated learning advantages into my contract.  Why did I do that?  Because I knew that there was competition in the high paying job and so I was willing to take it for significantly less.  I positioned my success and today I run an international coaching company and serve thousands of women a year to accomplish their dreams online.

This would never be possible without learning from the best.  Let me show you how things played out in my last two business.

Within 6 months in both careers I was being paid a serious 6 figure income with profit sharing.  Pretty good eh?  I learned from watching people smarter then me position themselves in the market.  You see, only people who are focused on the money try and get it all upfront and quite frankly many of them live pay check to pay check their entire lives.

What would it look like if you’d stop playing victim and served before you demanded? I’ll tell you what would happen, your life would change dramatically.  You’d find yourself in high paying jobs where you’d have autonomy to make life changing decisions for the company you work for or own.

In today’s economy it’s not what you know because there is A LOT of competition of highly intelligent people available in the market.  You advantage is to find a successful entrepreneur to align with, learn from, and create job security for yourself.

Let go of the people who have you over a barrel and you do not make business decisions on NEED.  Choose the people around you who are committed to the vision of your company and have high enough self worth to realize they are important to the people who depend on them to not quit.  Otherwise, you’re going to learn a very expensive lesson on how to build a team of winners by building a team of energy sucking whiners first!  Trust me, I’ve learned this lesson ten times over with assistants, employees, joint venture partners, and internet marketers.

My last virtual assistant set a new bar for my company and way of doing business.  She really got how important she was to the clients that I serve.  In fact, she knew how important her role was and did her very best to serve into that role.  I appreciate and love Tarja my last assistant and wish her new ventures in mommy world the greatest success.  That baby has one heck of a great role model!
